Debbie Carney

Office Manager

I am married to Dr. Tim Carney and mother to Dr. Daniel Carney, so this truly is a “family” business!  Tim and I currently live in the Brandon area. Our youngest son, Chris, is a nuclear pharmacist in the Jackson area. I graduated from Mississippi State with a Business Management degree. I worked for 10 years at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in the Accounting office. I have worked in our dental office at least part-time since 1992, and full-time since 2005. In my spare time, I love spending time with my family.  For my personal “therapy” time, I love riding my two horses, Betsy and Pepper!

Kerri Weeks

Dental Hygienist

I live in Clinton, MS with my husband, Brian, of 21 years, and our daughter Maddie. I graduated from HCC dental assisting program in December 1997, and from UMC dental hygiene baccalaureate program in May of 2002. While being employed full-time for over 19 years here at this practice, I love being a part of a family-friendly office staff that ensures patient satisfaction. In my spare time, I enjoy supporting my daughter’s school activities and sports as well as family time spent outdoors.

Joanna Dew

I am originally from the MS Gulf Coast and now live in Ridgeland, MS with my husband, Layton, and our fur baby, Willie. I graduated from Mississippi State (Hail State!) in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in Communications. During and after college, I worked in various professional fields which have helped me become well-rounded. I love learning and experiencing new things. One of my favorite hobbies is traveling to new places near and far. Although, nothing beats visiting with friends and family gathered around a table full of crawfish or a nice bonfire. I am happy to be a part of the family here at Carney Family Dentistry!

Toni Fitzhugh

Dental Assistant

I currently live in Ludlow, MS with my husband, Perry, of 35 years, and have two grown children. I have been in the dental profession for 31 years. I was a dental assistant in a prosthodontic practice for 17 years and have been a dental assistant with Carney Family Dentistry since 2018. I love being a part of such a family-friendly practice that cares so much for its patients. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, gardening, and spending time with family.

Sarah Pinson

Dental Assistant

I currently live in Brandon with my boyfriend, Brian, and my two children, Elizabeth and Charlie. I graduated from the Accelerated Dental Assisting Academy in 2018. I enjoy watching my son play soccer and helping my daughter with her various art projects. When not at the soccer fields, I enjoy going to the movies, spending time with my nieces and nephews, and planning at least one yearly family vacation. As a dental assistant, I hope to offer our patients the care and support they need to ensure their experience is as pleasant as possible. I am proud to be a part of the Carney Family Dentistry family!
